Monona Center – Take One
I rarely use the Automatic Exposure Bracketing featuring on my camera but found a chilly evening in March a good opportunity to try it out on the Monona Terrace. If you turn 180°, you would get this image. This image is the original with the upcoming ones having the exposure set one stop over and under exposed.

Wisconsin Capital at Night
A nighttime view of the captial building from the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and E. Wilson Street in Mad Town.
Exposure: 1.300 sec, Aperture: f/5.6, Focal Length: 28 mm, ISO 200

Qwest Center Statue
This statue sits in front of the Qwest Center in Omaha, NE and has a little bit of everything; some figures, a clock, and some balls.
Exposure: 1/13 sec, Aperture: f/3.5, Focal Length: 28 mm, ISO 800

Desert Dome Closeup
A closeup of the glass Desert Dome from last week.
Exposure: 1/320 sec, Aperture: f/11, Focal Length: 95 mm, ISO 200

Foggy Basilica
Took a few pictures of the Basilica of Saint Mary in Minneapolis on a foggy afternoon. Certainly not one of my favorites as it gives me a feeling of “blahs”.
Exposure: 1/250 sec, Aperture: f/5.0, Focal Length: 65 mm, ISO 200

Desert Dome
The Desert Dome is part of the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, NE. I took this in the early afternoon so the sunlight was pretty harsh. Of course, that gave me a good excuse to mess around edit a bit in Lightroom.
Exposure: 1/2000 sec, Aperture: f/4.0, Focal Length: 41 mm, ISO 200

Qwest Center at Sunrise
I spent a week in Omaha as was able to see the sunrise hitting the Qwest Center everyday. Although actually, it’s more of a picture of the clouds and color of the sky than the actual building itself.
Exposure: 1/320 sec, Aperture: f/8.0, Focal Length: 28 mm, ISO 200

Wisconsin Capital at Sunset
I spent an evening in Madison last month and was able to spend a little time hanging out downtown by the Capital building. I boosted the red color in the sky and darkened the overall tone using Lightroom.
Exposure: 1/2 sec, Aperture: f/22, Focal Length: 135 mm, ISO 200

Joe’s Garage
While out driving around Minneapolis one day for work, I saw this sign. Not sure why it piqued my interest but I drove around the block twice to find a place to park so I could quick take a few pictures. I used Lightroom to boast the color of the red bricks.
