We took the kiddos to the wildlife refuge for the annual winter open house. There was a nice layer of frost on all the trees, which makes for good photographic opportunities.

I’ve shot this barn several different times in the past but nothing really stood out to me. One day, as I was driving by it, I turned and looked back and saw this angle, which I hadn’t before. It was a good reminder to always move around and explore every possible angle as there might be a better photograph waiting for you.
As for the barn, I imagine what life was like when you didn’t have the other building behind it.
