52 Week Project: Week 13
Blowing Stuff Up
In the next few weeks, I’m blowing this site up. Not sure what all it will entail yet but the theme will be different as well as how often I post. I’m committed to the 52 Week Project but I will be posting more random thoughts, vision, books I’m reading as well as direct you to other photographers and blog posts that inspire me.
As time permits, I also plan to post more pictures in addition to the 52 Week Project. What those will be, I don’t know but I feel that this need to be more than a once per week blog. Stay tuned…
52 Week Project: Week 12
Whenever I make it down to Omaha for work, I most always end my trip with dinner at Upstream Brewing. Besides very good beer, the food is not your typical bar spread but rather a vast range of comfort food (I recommend the pot roast). If you’re ever in Omaha, I highly recommend spending a night here.

52 Week Project: Week 11
This last Sunday, the weather was the nicest it has been since last fall with temperatures right around 60 degrees. Samantha has been wanting to go on the swings all winter and this was her lucky day. I haven’t done much with continuous shooting lately but I did this day in order to catch those moments you don’t always get when using one-shot mode.
This was my favorite as it shows her joy in getting to ride the swings, which is a good reminder to me to forget all that is going on in the world and to go seek out and experience the simple joys in life.

52 Week Project: Week 10
I had a long drive up to Warroad, MN one day last summer and was able to stop on the side of the road and catch the sunrise just south of Blackduck.

52 Week Project: Week 9
While traveling through Aitkin, MN last summer, I spotted this new church that was just built (Saint James Catholic Church). I stopped by and shot a few frames. Most of the images were pretty forgettable but this one drew my eye with the road leading to the church.
