We had some nice ice forming on the trees around our house a couple of weekends ago that I was able to shoot before they melted. This was one of my favorites even though I think this is a weed. I included a black and white version as well, which I like a little more. Exposure: [...] Up to this point, photography has been a hobby that I’ve enjoyed a great deal. I’ve learned a little, made a few good images (or so was told) and even made a little money on the side. Recently though, I’ve been wondering and thinking “Is this it?” Shoot a few pictures of the kids, family, [...] Not sure why but I like this picture of a random field north of Bismarck, North Dakota. Exposure: 1/320 sec, Aperture: f/11, Focal Length: 135mm, ISO 200 I had to run to the post office one day and grabbed my camera as I headed out the door. I drove around my neighborhood and the surrounding developments looking for something interesting to shoot. The combination of the moon and the water tower behind the trees was at least semi-interesting. Exposure: 1/1250 sec, [...] During our BWCA trip last year we had stayed at Temperance River State Park on the first night. I got up early and took a few pictures of the sunrise looking out over Lake Superior. It was very awe inspiring to say the least. Exposure: 1/800 sec, Aperture: f/11.0, Focal Length: 28mm, ISO 200 |
