I was in Duluth, MN last month for work and was able to get some pictures of the ice build-up on some rocks along the shores of Lake Superior. Exposure: 1/400 sec, Aperture: f/11, Focal Length: 28 mm, ISO 400. I shot this candle previously but for some reason, it was glowing differently several days later. I tried different angles and settings and thought this one turned out pretty cool. Exposure: 1/4 sec, Aperture: f/5.6, Focal Length: 85 mm, ISO 800. Our backyard has a bunch of birch trees and I caught the sunrise coming through one morning. Exposure: 1/125 sec, Aperture: f/5.6, Focal Length: 90 mm, ISO 200. I took this the same day and about the same time asyesterday’spost. I liked the colors but I could use a bit more practice on the focusing aspect on clouds. Exposure: 1/10 sec, Aperture: f/11, Focal Length: 44 mm, ISO 200. What was once a pristine patch of snow in our front yard now looks like a lunar landscape thanks to the snowblower. I shot this from inside our house as it was about minus ten degrees that day. Exposure: 1/40 sec, Aperture: f/4.0, Focal Length: 38 mm, ISO 200. I’ve been trying to get some practice at taking pictures of this candle for a couple of days. I should have cleaned out the burned out potions of wick floating around before shooting. Exposure: 1/100 sec, Aperture: f/5.6, Focal Length: 135 mm, ISO 200. This is one of the bridges that cross the Knife River in Knife River, MN which is a small unincorporated community between Duluth and Two Harbors. I used the Auto Tone feature in Lightroom. Exposure: 1/250 sec, Aperture: f/10, Focal Length: 28 mm, ISO 400. This light sits on the pier at the entrance to the ore docks in Two Harbors, MN.
